This activity has 30 black and white cartoon cards. The first page is an example of 6 pictures that have been given a title and coloured in. Cut out the black and white pictures and ask the children in pairs or groups to come up with a title for each picture. This makes for a fun speaking and listening activity and for children to be creative in their writing. Children could colour and share their cartoon pictures explaining them to the rest of the class. They could write a caption / sentence or paragraph to describe their picture. There is a blank template at the end for you or the children to use to make more drawings or cartoons of your own. This activity is great too, for those learning English!

Alternatively, each of the 10 worksheets can be used on their own. Children complete the sentence with a missing word. The missing words are sometimes repeated such as ‘water’ and ‘chocolate’ but the containers or descriptions are different e.g. a bar of chocolate a box of chocolates This is a good speaking and listening activity and useful for those learning English.
